We are happy to note the successful work on the interesting and important for us project "Building skills through training of therapy animals"/BUSTA/, supported by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
The visits of the wonderful children from the Community for Democratic Education to our farm were filled with many emotions. The children's empathy was very moving for us. The desire with which they absorbed the information about the lives of our horses, about our work with disadvantaged children gives us a lot of hope for the future.
The visits of our partners from abroad - Lietuvos juru muziejus (Lithuania), Klaipedos Marijos Montessori mokykla-darzelis (Lithuania), Community for Democratic Education (Bulgaria), Brussels Open School (Belgium) brought us a lot of experience and different points of view on the issues we are trying to resolve. Our work with the children from ODO and partners gave us new ideas, exchange of experience and confidence that we are on the right track. We are happy that in addition to the purely working atmosphere during our seminars indoor and on field, we became friends with all our colleagues. This aids to finishing the project with positive attitude and warm feelings. We are grateful to the Erasmus+ program for the provided opportunity and assistance in the project.
Visiting our friends from Lithuania was an exciting and unforgettable experience. The Maritime Museum and Definarium, where the therapy for children with special needs takes place in the city of Klaipeda, Lithuania, impressed everyone.
Our organization is glad to note the fast and successful development of the BUSTA project. All partners undertake the assigned tasks with great responsibility and initiative. And last but not least, we are encouraged by the children who actively participated in all activities and events, because they are the ones who will continue to develop this and other similar initiatives. This will have a positive impact on the entire society of the European Union and will set a positive example for other good ventures and practices.
