In August we were glad to welcome the team of Neurosensomorika from Lithuania to 4OUR RANCH and complete a very interesting training on sensory needs of children.

One of the most interesting moments of course were the meeting and interaction with our horses. Our guests explored the space and approached the herd. Some of them carried fear for horses, others were curious to see them, some felt comfortable with them almost immediately.

It was very inspiring to also learn about the experience of our Lithuanian colleagues, making a bridge between the horse-assisted therapy and dolphin-assisted therapy. Both of them address the sensory needs of children and other beneficiaries of the therapy in different way. Similar to other therapies they complement each other.
