Things people ask before sponsoring
Do I need a PayPal account to donate?
No. On the PayPal page you can pay with any credit or debit card without creating an account. Select "Pay by card" when prompted.
Can I cancel my monthly sponsorship?
Yes, at any time. Log into PayPal and cancel the recurring payment, or email us and we will handle it for you immediately.
I live outside Bulgaria. Can I still sponsor?
Absolutely — and we warmly welcome you. Many of our sponsors are Bulgarians living abroad or international horse lovers. PayPal handles all currency conversion automatically.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. We are a registered nonprofit in Bulgaria and issue official tax-deductible certificates for every sponsorship. Contact us if you need documentation for your country.
How will I know my money is actually helping?
Twice a year you will receive a personal update about your specific horse — their health, their work in therapy sessions, and what your support has covered — plus two photos.
Can I give a sponsorship as a gift?
Yes, and it makes a wonderful present. Contact us after donating and we will prepare a personalised gift certificate with the horse's name and story for the person you are gifting it to.
